A rescue rescue official was killed while 13 other, including journalist and policemen, were injured in twin blasts in Quetta on Thursday.
Media reports say the explosions in Khezai Chowk, a busy area of the city, were the result of twin Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted in the area by unknown militants.
As soon as it was reported, rescue teams and security personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital.
A rescue worker was killed in the blasts while 13 people, including private TV journalists and policemen, were injured.
The nature of the explosion, however, was not immediately known. Additional police personnel have also been summoned and evidence is being collected from the crime spot.
