Chest OPD, TB control room inaugurated at Jamrud Hospital

Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Government is taking steps to provide modern facilities in health centers and hospitals of the integrated tribal districts.

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has inaugurated accident and Emergency Service, Chest OPD and TB control room at Jamrud Hospital in Khyber District on Friday.

Talking to the media at the inauguration of various units of Jamrud Hospital, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Government is taking steps to provide modern facilities in health centers and hospitals of the integrated tribal districts. 

He said that patients will have timely treatment in the Accident and Emergency Department.

Dr Hisham said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government is focusing on improving primary and secondary healthcare and meeting staff shortage in hospitals, adding that the integrated tribal districts’ hospitals are being developed on modern lines where modern facilities will be provided to create model health hospitals.

On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Khyber Mehmood Aslam Wazir inaugurated vegetable market in Bara.  He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Bara Nayak Muhammad, Tehsildar Bara Zulfiqar Ahmed, businessman Haji Gulman Shah, Sajid Aizaz Wazir, chairman of Anjman Traders Bara and others.

Deputy Commissioner Khyber Mehmood Aslam said that sasta markets would be set up to control inflation in every tribal district.

He said that the vegetable market, inaugurated today, Vegetables and grains will be available at very low cost while the local people will be able to buy and sell their cultivated vegetables here.  He hoped that locals Will also get employment opportunities.
