JUIF will march against the country: Ijaz Shah

Talking to media in Islamabad, the Interior Minister said that there is no danger to the government and it will not fall on anyone's behest

PESHAWAR: Federal Home Minister Brigadier (r) Ijaz Shah has said that the government will not fall at the behest of anyone and all those coming to Islamabad(For JUIF Azadi March) will come against the country.

Talking to media in Islamabad, the Interior Minister said that there is no danger to the government and it will not fall on anyone’s behest. “The PTI government was brought by the people of Pakistan, so long as the people have confidence in it, the PTI government can be removed,” Ijaz Shah told media.

The interior minister said that it was the job of the opposition to criticize the government and defended the PTI’s dharna in 2014 saying that the situation was different at the time of Imran Khan’s sit-in. He added that time Maulana Fazlur Rehman is not suitable.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan has full respect for Namoos-e- Risalat and no march is valid in this regard, people coming to Islamabad will come against the country, he added that section 144 will be imposed in Islamabad,” informed the interior minister.

Talking about Madrassah reforms, Ijaz Shah said that the registration of any madrassa will not be cancelled and the curriculum of the madrassas is not being changed, however, the government is trying to make the religious seminar students able to get higher education like other student studying in universities.
