PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics has released inflation data during one year of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
Inflation data has been released from August 2018 to August 2019.
According to statistics, price of one kilogram of sugar raised by 20 rupees while mutton raised by Rs 84 per kg, beef by Rs 45 per kg, broiler chicken by 61 and pack of two and a half kilograms of cooking oil increased by Rs.82. According to the FBS report, 10 kg of wheat increased by Rs 29 per kg bag and flour became expensive by Rs. 39 during one year.
Besides, basmati rice prices increased at Rs 6 per kg, Dal masur by 12, daal mong by Rs 57 per kg, Daal mash by Rs 34 per kg and gram pulse by Rs 13 per kg. According to the document, garlic became expensive by Rs 133 per kg and fresh milk and yoghurt by Rs 7, Rs 7 per kg in the first year of the PTI government.
Onion prices rose by Rs 23 and potatoes by Rs 7 per kg, while the price of 200 grams of tea leaf increased by Rs 16 in one year, according to the federal bureau of statistics. In one year of the PTI government, cigarette packets were increased by Rs 25.
